People are supporting CPI(M) over TMC-BJP in panchayat elections: Ashok Bhattacharya

Cooch Behar, 01st July: CPI(M) leader Ashok Bhattacharya, during his election campaign in Ambika Nagar today, highlighted the growing confidence of the common people in the party for the upcoming panchayat elections. He emphasized that it is not the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) or Trinamool Congress (TMC), but the ordinary citizens who are placing their trust in the CPI(M) this time.

Despite facing a tough fight, Ashok Bhattacharya, a prominent leader of the Left, remains determined and committed to the cause. The party, recognizing his capabilities, has entrusted him with the responsibility of leading the Panchayat election campaign in Dabgram and Fulbari. Bhattacharya has taken on the campaign with a sense of responsibility, working diligently to support the party’s candidates. However, he has encountered a less enthusiastic response during the campaign.

During today’s campaign in Ambika Nagar, Bhattacharya expressed confidence in the outcome of the elections. He mentioned that while the BJP may struggle to effectively manage the Panchayat, the TMC failed to deliver essential services to the people. In contrast, the CPI(M) stands as the only party capable of efficiently running the Panchayat. This, he believes, is the reason why people are placing their trust in the CPI(M) now.
