Siliguri, 14th August: Patients are facing significant difficulties in Siliguri due to a strike by doctors protesting against the R.G. Kar incident. O.P.D. services at North Bengal Medical College and Siliguri District Hospital have been suspended, causing major issues for patients and their families.
According to reports, many individuals traveled from distant locations to seek medical attention at these facilities on Wednesday. However, upon arrival, they found that the O.P.D. services were unavailable.
As a result, patients and their families expressed their frustration, explaining that they had traveled long distances with patients in need of treatment and found that the services were closed due to the ongoing strike.
