Kharibari, 04th May: Member of Siliguri Mahakma Parishad, Kishori Mohan Singh, laid the foundation stone for the Pathashree project road in Kharibari block. Today, the foundation stone for the road work of the said project was laid from the PWD More of Kharibari Gram Panchayat to Jorpakuri Rail Bridge.
Kishori Mohan Singh stated that the work had started late due to some issues. The construction of this 1.9-kilometer-long road will cost Rs. 29 lakh 66 thousand. The local people are pleased with the commencement of road work. The assistant chairman of Kharibari Panchayat Samiti, the head of Kharibari Gram Panchayat, and other individuals were present during this event.
