Siliguri, 31st August: The Darjeeling district committee of the Paschim Banga Rajya Pratibandhi Sammilani organized the annual Raksha Bandhan program with the specially-abled individuals in Siliguri. Veteran CPI (M) leader Ashok Bhattacharya graced the occasion as a special guest.
During the program, on Thursday morning, the specially-abled people celebrated Raksha Bandhan by tying rakhis on the wrists of passersby as well as on the on-duty traffic policeman at Hashmi Chowk in Siliguri.
