Rajganj, 01st January: In a delightful update for picnic goers, the Parumunda’s Neem Eco Park has reopened after being closed for nearly five years. The park, located between Fulbari and Gajoldoba, has been a popular destination for locals and tourists.
Reportedly, the park was shut down for an extended period, but with efforts from the Forest Department’s Ambari Range Office and the Joint Forest Management Committee, it has now been reopened. The Joint Forest Management Committee will oversee the maintenance and operations of the park.
However, there are certain restrictions in place, including restrictions on cooking fires. Visitors can bring food from home or from external sources. Additionally, sound systems can only be used in compliance with the park’s rules.
The beauty of the park, with its lush surroundings and proximity to the Neem River, continues to attract visitors. A sub-canal running through the area resembles a waterfall, adding to the park’s charm.
