Siliguri, 31st January: The ongoing issue of wild elephant invasion has imposed a threat to the students of Choto Fapri Nepali Primary School adjacent to Siliguri. A recent issue has emerged where a herd of wild tuskers entered the school premises and ransacked all food items stored for mid-day meals. As a result, the parents of the students locked the classrooms as a part of a protest demanding concrete walls bounding the school.
According to reports, the recent invasion of elephants has put a halt to the mid-day meal amenities for the students since Tuesday.
