Rajganj, 15th January: Panic ensued in Rajganj’s Sanyasikata after tiger’s footprints were found in the tea garden on Sunday afternoon in Chekarmari village of Sanyasikata gram panchayat of Rajganj block.
According to the sources, the owner of the tea garden had reached the tea garden to inspect it as usual. During this, noticing footprints in the tea garden, he suspected it to be of a tiger. After that, he informed the forest department about it.
On information, the forest personnel of Ambari range reached the spot. According to the forest department, the footprints seem to be of a leopard after which patrolling has been started in the area. If needed, a cage will also be installed in the tea garden.
