Pangolin recovered in Alipurduar, 1 arrested

Alipurduar, 05th March: Based on a tip-off, the Hamiltonganj Range of the forest department and the Jawans of the 53rd Batallion of the SSB launched an operation in the Nimti area of the Kalchini block, on Wednesday evening, and arrested a man. The arrested individual has been identified as Anwar Hossain, a resident of Cooch Behar’s Natabari area. Reportedly, a pangolin has been seized from his possession.
