Cooch Behar, 11th February: A panchayat member of Ghoksadanga area of Cooch Behar left Trinamool Congress and joined Bharatiya Janata Party.
Just two days ago, BJP’s Deputy President of Ghoksadanga Zone and a Panchayat member were inducted into Trinamool through a press conference on behalf of TMC. Speculations were rife that BJP MLA from Mathabhanga Sushil Barman would also join Trinamool. Eventually, all the speculations came to an end today.
The panchayat member joined BJP in the office of Cooch Behar District BJP President where MLA Sushil Barman inducted him into the party by handing him the party flag.
