Siliguri, 11th January: Sensation prevailed after a fire broke out inside the office of an oxygen factory in Mahakal Pally under Ward No. 10. The fire was initially noticed by the locals around 6 in the morning, after which the owner was informed.
Meanwhile, on receiving the news, the fire department immediately sent 4 fire engines to the location. After a while, the firefighters were able to extinguish the fire.
According to the sources, the fire flamed in the area where the empty cylinders were kept. The owner confirmed the reason for the fire accident to be the faulty circuits.
On the other hand, Trinamool Congress candidate Kamal Agarwal, BJP candidate Prasanjit Paul, and other party candidates also reached the spot.
