Siliguri, 06th April: Ashok Bhattacharya, the Left candidate of the Siliguri assembly Sanjukta Morcha (CPIM-Congress-ISF), held a press conference at Siliguri’s Anil Biswas Bhawan on Tuesday and accused the opposition parties of providing wrong information regarding the city’s development to the people.
He said that he is receiving a huge response from the people during election campaigns. “I have also interacted with traders in different markets. People have confidence in me,” he stated.
On the other hand, he sneered at the opposition parties and said that the state government has not done anything in the last 10 years and the central government has also failed terribly in the last 8 years.
“This time they are doing cheap politics to get votes. Also, wrong information is being provided to the people about the city’s development,” Bhattacharya said.
