Siliguri, 15th December: A grand event of Mass Gita Chanting was organized at Kawakhali Kurukshetra Maidan in Siliguri today. The event saw the participation of over 1,100 prominent saints and spiritual leaders from across India, who gathered to chant the sacred verses of the Bhagavad Gita in unison.
Among the attendees were prominent political figures, including BJP MP Sukanta Majumdar, Darjeeling MP Raju Bista, BJP leaders Dilip Ghosh, Arjun Singh, and Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh, along with other BJP leaders.
The event began early in the morning, and the area was filled with excitement and fervor. Devotees from various parts of the city and surrounding regions traveled on foot or by vehicle to reach Kawakhali Kurukshetra Maidan, where the event took place. The crowd rushed to a massive number, with hundreds of thousands of devotees participating in the recitation.
In addition to this, the event attracted a large number of spectators, making the occasion even more vibrant.
