Naxalbari, 24th April: A young man died in a head-on collision between a passenger four-wheeler and a motorcycle in the Lalpool area of Naxalbari this afternoon. The deceased has been identified as Niten Sharma, a 24-year-old resident of Aldangi in Naxalbari.
According to reports, a passenger four-wheeler was travelling from Naxalbari to Panighata when a motorcycle from Panighata collided with it in the said area, resulting in the death of the motorcycle rider on the spot. The body of the deceased was recovered and taken to Naxalbari Rural Hospital. The Naxalbari police have taken possession of the motorcycle and four-wheeler and are investigating the incident.
