Rajganj, 13th December: A head-on collision between a passenger car and a motorcycle resulted in one person being injured onThursday night in the Pradhanpara area of the Belakoba-Gatebazar state highway.
As per reports, the incident occurred around 9 PM when a small passenger car, heading towards Belakoba, collided with a motorcycle traveling towards Gatebazar. The motorcyclist was severely injured in the crash. The injured motorcyclist was quickly rescued and sent to a nearby rural hospital for treatment.
In a dramatic turn of events, the car attempted to flee the scene after the collision, dragging the motorcycle for several kilometers. However, the outraged locals managed to halt the vehicle and later vandalized the car. Meanwhile, the driver managed to escape on foot amid the chaos.
Upon receiving the news, police from the Belakoba Outpost rushed to the scene. The vehicle responsible for the accident has been taken into custody while further investigation is underway.
