Siliguri, 17th October: The Matigara police have recovered a stolen scooty and arrested an individual in connection to the case. The arrested individual has been identified as Rajen Rai, a resident of Bagdogra.
The incident occurred on October 15, when a scooter was reportedly stolen from the Khaprail market area in Matigara. Following the filing of a complaint at the Matigara police station, authorities launched an investigation.
On Wednesday night, police apprehended Rajen Rai along with the stolen scooter in the Khaprail Mor area. Later on Thursday, he was produced before the Siliguri Court.
