Siliguri, 27th February: Pradhan Nagar Police arrested an individual along with 43 bottles of banned cough syrup. The arrested individual has been identified as Jiwan Krishnadas, a resident of Alipurduar.
According to the information received, Jiwan arrived at the Siliguri Junction area, on Wednesday night, to sell the banned cough syrup. However, the undercover Pradhan Nagar Police caught Jiwan red-handed in the act and arrested him. The police also recovered 43 bottles of banned cough syrup from his possession. The accused arrested has been presented in the Siliguri court, today.
