Siliguri, 13th January: Bhakti Nagar police station has arrested one with a huge quantity of banned drugs. The accused has been identified as Roshan Barman. Police recovered about 40 bottles of banned cough syrup and tablets from the accused.
Reportedly, last night, Roshan reached the Don Bosco More area to sell the narcotics hidden in the trunk of a scooty. As soon as the police received a tip-off, they launched a campaign and nabbed Roshan Barman red-handed. After this, the police registered a case against Roshan Barman under the NDPS Act and presented him in the Jalpaiguri court today.
