Kalchini, 21st January: Based on a tip-off, the Jawans of the 53rd Battalion of the SSB conducted a campaign and arrested a person with tablets and banned cough syrup. The accused has been identified as Siyon Guha, a resident of Kalchini.
According to sources, the SSB personnel campaigned in the Rangamati Road area and arrested the individual, today. 180 bottles of banned cough syrup and 90 leaves of banned tablets have been recovered from his possession. A vehicle has also been seized in connection with the incident. The accused arrested has been handed over to the Kalchini Police.
