Siliguri, 10th February: The Pradhan Nagar Police arrested an individual on charges of robbery. The accused has been identified as Mukesh Shah. According to sources, complaints of thefts in the Devidanga area of Siliguri were being registered at the police station for a long time.
Based on a tip-off, the police launched a campaign in the Devidanga area, on Monday, and arrested the youth. The police have recovered many items including fans and blankets from his possession. The accused will be presented before the court on Tuesday. The police are keen on taking the accused in custody to interrogate and gather all the information from him. The police are investigating the entire incident.
