One arrested in Siliguri along with illegal firearms

Siliguri, 09th February: On Saturday afternoon during Naka checking, the NJP police arrested a man, identified as Mithun Roy along with firearms from the Murder More area near Fulbari. Reportedly, the accused is a resident of Falakata. A firearm and 3 live cartridges were recovered from his possession.
During a press conference on Sunday at the NJP police station, ACP East Surinder Singh stated that the arrested accused will be produced at the Jalpaiguri court on Sunday and will be taken on a 10-day remand for further interrogation.
