Siliguri, 08th September: A man has been arrested by the Matigara police in connection with the theft of an e-rickshaw. The individual, identified as Shubham Das, has been arrested and the stolen vehicle has been recovered.
The theft reportedly occurred on September 4 in the Matigara area of Siliguri. A written complaint was lodged at the Matigara Police Station on September 6. The police launched an investigation and managed to recover the stolen e-rickshaw and apprehend Shubham Das within 48 hours.
According to police sources, the e-rickshaw was recovered from the Kawakhali area. The accused has been produced before the Siliguri Court on Sunday. The police continue to investigate the case.
