Siliguri, 24th September: In a recent development, the cops of Siliguri police station have arrested a man in connection with the theft of AC copper wires. The accused has been identified as Begen Tamang (28).
According to reports, AC copper wire was stolen from a house in the Deshbandhu Para area of Siliguri a few days ago. Following the incident, a written complaint was lodged at Siliguri police station. After conducting an investigation, police apprehended Tamang from the Tikiapara area on Monday and recovered the stolen wire from his possession.
The accused was produced in Siliguri Court on Tuesday. The police are continuing their investigation into the case.
