Alipurduar, 29th April: The Barobisha checkpost Police under Alipurduar Kumargram Police station recovered illicit liquor at the Pakriguri area near Assam-Bengal Border.
A lorry was seized in the incident and the driver was arrested.
As per the reports, 800 cartons of liquor worth 44 lakh rupees were recovered upon searching the vehicle. The liquor was allegedly being transported from Arunachal Pradesh to West Bengal.
