Islampur, 02nd March: The police arrested Zafar Alam, a resident of the Purnia district of Bihar, along with a sharp weapon under the charge of stealing a motorcycle.
According to sources, the locals nabbed the accused when he was planning to steal a motorcycle from the Matiari area of the Kanki Outpost functioning under the Chakulia Police Station, on Monday afternoon. The accused was then handed over to the Kanki Police.
According to police sources, the accused is currently being interrogated. The officials are also searching for the other members of the gang involved in the incident.
