Siliguri, 24th February: The Pradhan Nagar Police arrested an individual, on Sunday night, for abducting a young man. The arrested has been identified as Ganga Prasad Jadav, a resident of Phulparas village in Madhubani district.
It has been reported that Jadav took Rajesh Prasad Jadav, a resident of New Pokhai Jote area under Ward No. 46, to Bihar stating that he would provide him employment, and then captured him. The accused also demanded a huge amount of ransom money to Rajesh’s family.
In this context, Rajesh’s family members lodged a written complaint at the Pradhan Nagar Police station, on February 20. The police launched an investigation into the case and arrested the accused. The arrested was presented in Siliguri Court, today. The police are further investigating the entire case.
