Siliguri, 01st November: Allegations of fraud on the pretext of providing jobs have been raised against two security guards working in Uttarkanya, Siliguri. The accused have been identified as Moinul Rahman and Bishnupad Gupta, both residents of Fulbari. Following the incident, Bishnupad Gupta has been apprehended, while, police are on a hunt to arrest the prime accused.
As per reports, both the accused have been working as security guards in Uttarkanya for a long time. Moinul had taken money from three girls, of Jalpaiguri, on the pretext of providing them jobs in a nursing home in Siliguri. On Wednesday, Moinul asked the girls to meet him, along with Bishnupad Gupta, at Uttarkanya.
Meanwhile, as the girls arrived and tried to contact Moinul Rahman, they could not contact him. Upon becoming suspicious, they informed the matter to the officials of Uttarkanya. Subsequently, the police were also alerted, who arrived at the spot and detained Bishnupad Gupta. However, the prime accused Moinul Rahman is absconding. Currently, New Jalpaiguri (NJP) police are on a hunt to nab the other accused.
