Naxalbari, 28th January: The NSS Unit of Birsa Munda College, Naxalbari, organized a blood donation camp on Tuesday to address the shortage of blood supplies.
The event was held in collaboration with the Blood Bank of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). College Principal Dr. Birendra Mridha, along with professors, students, and local residents, actively participated by donating blood.
Speaking on the occasion, Professor Ratna Pal, in charge of the NSS unit, highlighted that the NSS regularly engages in social activities, and organizing blood donation camps is a key part of their initiatives.
College Principal Dr. Birendra Mridha expressed pride in the college’s achievements, mentioning that the camp was organized following the college’s recent B+ grade accreditation by NAAC.
He emphasized the progress made by the institution over the past five years and assured further advancements in the future.
