Siliguri, 08th March: Today is March 8, International Women’s Day. However, there is still no end to women’s humiliation and deprivation of women in society. Incidents of trafficking often come up in the headlines.
NSS Unit 4 of Siliguri College presented this picture of the society through a short street play on Women’s Day. They organized the play at Safdar Hashmi Chowk in Siliguri.
Through the play, it was shown how women are trapped and incidents like trafficking take place. Such an initiative was taken to raise awareness among women.
