Siliguri, 12th March: North Bengal receives another Vande Bharat Express train ahead of Lok Sabha elections. On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the New Jalpaiguri (NJP)-Patna Vande Bharat Express train.
As per reports, the new Vande Bharat Express would be functional from March 14. Notably, the new train would be the third Vande Bharat Express from NJP, with NJP-Howrah and NJP Guwahati Vande Bharat express inaugurated earlier.
During the inauguration, NF Railway Katihar Division DRM, Chief Public Relations Officer and other railway officials along with MP Jayanta Roy and MLA Shankar Ghosh were present at NJP railway station
