Siliguri, 06th July: The Chief Medical Superintendent (CMS) of NJP Railway Hospital has been accused of misbehaving with the women staff of the Hospital. In this regard, Hospital workers resorted to demonstrations demanding the removal of the CMS.
According to reports, the CMS of NJP Railway Station, Tapan Kumar Majhi has been allegedly misbehaving with the female staff, after taking charge of the office. In addition, the protestors also accused the CMS of misbehavior with other staff of the hospital. On Thursday, in addition to the demonstrations, the protestors took Tapan Kumar Majhi from the railway hospital to the Railway Officer’s Office, where they demanded for his transfer.
Later, after prolonged protests, the agitations were called off after assurance by the Railway Office for his transfer. However, CMS Tapan Kumar Majhi denied to comment on the allegations.
