Siliguri, 24th August: NJP police solved a theft case at a resort in the Jatiyakali area near Siliguri and successfully recovered the stolen items.
It is to be noted, on August 17, several items including four pump machines were stolen from a resort in Jatiyakali near Fulbari. The resort authorities then lodged a complaint at the NJP police station. Based on the complaint, the police launched investigations and arrested Mohammad Jabbar Miya on August 21 in connection to the incident.
Miya was produced at the court and taken into police custody for 03 days. After interrogating him, the police recovered two stolen pumps and an unregistered motorcycle from the accused’s in-law’s house. He was once again produced at Jalpaiguri court today.
