Siliguri, 28th March: The NJP Police launched operations at the Madani Bazaar area adjacent to NJP and seized local and country-made liquor. One person, identified as Montu Roy, was arrested in the incident.
According to police sources, around 42 bottles of liquor were seized during the operation. The accused had been running an illegal business for a long time. He was sent to Jalpaiguri court on Sunday.
