Siliguri, 26th April: NJP police arrested three accused, namely Surya Singh, Mithun Roy, and Amulya Roy, in connection to the theft of a motorbike within six hours of the crime.
Reportedly, on Tuesday night, a person parked his bike at NJP station. Upon his return, he found his bike missing. After searching the area, the owner lodged a complaint at the NJP police station and an investigation was promptly initiated.
According to police information, Surya Singh, a resident of Siliguri’s Baribhasha area, stole the bike and hid it in Mithun Roy’s garage. The duo then sold the bike to Amulya Roy in Deshbandhu Para area of Fuleswari. Police arrested all three accused for stealing and buying the bike. Meanwhile, the owner of the bike expressed gratitude to the NJP police officials for the swift action. Police are further investigating the matter.
