Siliguri,30th May: The NJP police,based on a tip-off,launched operations and recovered a large quantity of local and foreign liquor from a godown near Rajaholi in Siliguri. One person,identified as Ramesh Roy (55) has been arrested in the incident.
It has been learned that illegal trade of liquor was being carried out by storing liquor in the said godown. After learning about the matter, the police launched operations. Apart from recovering a large quantity of liquor, a person named Ramesh Roy was arrested. He will be produced at the Jalpaiguri court today.
