Siliguri, 25th April: In a major recovery operation, NJP police successfully retrieved 51 stolen and lost mobile phones and handed them back to their rightful owners.
Over the past few weeks, several complaints regarding mobile phone thefts and losses were lodged at NJP police station from different areas under its jurisdiction. Acting on these complaints, the police launched a thorough investigation, which led to the recovery of the missing devices.
On Friday, in a formal event held in the presence of ACP Somnath Das, the recovered mobile phones were returned to their owners. The recipients expressed their happiness and gratitude, lauding the efforts and dedication of the police in recovering their lost belongings.
