Siliguri, 28th July: The NJP police, on Monday, arrested two men on the charges of carrying out criminal activities. The arrested accused have been identified as Sushant Roy and Bibhash Dutta, residents of Azimganj and Tinbatti More respectively.
It is to be noted that on June 30, four miscreants were arrested from Gora More area under Fulbari-1 region and a pickup van was also seized during the course.
Later, the NJP police launched an investigation and after questioning the four, the police learned regarding two more men involved behind criminal activities. Based on the lead, the police, on Monday, launched operations and successfully got hold of the duo.
The arrested accused are said to have numerous past criminal records. The duo was produced before the Jalpaiguri Court on Tuesday.
