Siliguri, 22nd February: While working on a case of motorbike theft, NJP police arrested the accused within six hours of the incident and also recovered the vehicle.
As per the information, Mohammad Ajgar, a resident of Jeetu Para in Rajganj, reported his bike missing on Tuesday at the NJP police station. Based on the complaint, the undercover cops launched a search operation and located the stolen bike. Acting promptly, the police arrested the thief and recovered the two-wheeler from the Bhaktinagar Pipeline area. The arrested youth has been identified as Suraj Singh alias Tana. He was presented in Jalpaiguri court today.
