Siliguri, 22nd June: The NJP police arrested two men along with a stolen vehicle. The arrested accused have been identified as ML Sinha and TD Sinha, both residents of Manipur.
It has been learned that while patrolling at Fulbari Canal Road last night, a four-wheeler (UP/70/FJ/7961) was spotted by the NJP police. The vehicle was then detained upon suspicion. The two people present inside the car were unable to present valid documents of the vehicle. Following which, the duo was arrested.
According to police sources, the car was being taken from Uttar Pradesh to Manipur for sale. The arrested individuals were sent to Jalpaiguri court on Tuesday. Police have started an investigation into the whole incident.
