Siliguri, 06th June: The NJP police arrested two people with 13 kg and 700 grams of cannabis, on Saturday night.
It has been learned that the police arrested Guddu Basfar and Sona Singh from Bhalobasa more under NJP police station. 13 kg and 700 gms of cannabis worth lakhs were recovered from their possession.
According to police sources, the arrested individuals are residents of NJP Railway Hospital and Shanti Para. They have been involved in cannabis trade for a long time. The duo was taken to Jalpaiguri court on Sunday.
