Siliguri, 11th March: The NJP Police arrested two men on the charges of burglary. The arrested accused have been identified as Rabiul Haque and Lablu Miya. The duo was produced at the court on Thursday.
On March 7, a large number of iron rods, water pumps, tile cutting machines, and other items were stolen from a godown in Fulbari Industrial Park. A written complaint was lodged at the NJP police station on March 8. Based on the complaint, the NJP police launched investigations and arrested Rabiul Haque and Lablu Mian. The stolen items were recovered from their possession.
According to police sources, Rabiul Haque, a resident of Dangapara in Fulbari, used to work in the godown. Various cases had been filed against Lablu Mian earlier.
