Siliguri, 13th June: The NJP police arrested two members of a robbers gang on Saturday night. The arrested accused have been identified as Ajay Dey and Raju Das. They are residents of the Suryasen Colony and Janata Para area.
The NJP police, based on a tip-off, arrested the two miscreants in front of the IOC gate last night. The duo had gathered a few days ago for the purpose of robbery. However, at that time, they managed to escape before getting caught.
However, the police successfully nabbed the duo yesterday. Several sharp weapons were seized from their possession. They were produced at the Jalpaiguri court today.
