Siliguri, 17th October: The NJP police arrested two peddlers on charges of smuggling cannabis. The accused have been identified as Vishwajeet Sarkar and Rani Deb.
Reportedly, based on a tip-off, the police campaigned in Fulbari area on Friday night and arrested two people along with 6 kg of cannabis. According to police sources, the said drug was being transported from Assam to Bihar for smuggling. Both the accused have been produced in the Jalpaiguri court today.
