NJP police arrest two for burglary, 12 mobile phones recovered

Siliguri, 07th October: Based on a tip-off, the NJP police, on Tuesday night, launched an operation at Tinbatti More and arrested two men on the charge of several burglaries. The arrested accused have been identified as Mohammad Qurban and Pawan Kumar Singh. 12 mobile phones were recovered from their possession.


Reportedly, several mobile theft complaints were lodged at the NJP police station recently. Following which, the police launched investigations and successfully got hold of the accused.


According to police sources, the duo has various past criminal records in Siliguri and the surrounding areas. They were produced before the Jalpaiguri court on Wednesday. Police have started investigating the entire incident.
