Siliguri, 04th November: Based on a tip-off, the NJP police, on Tuesday, launched operations at the Murder More area and arrested two men along with 11 kgs of cannabis. The arrested accused have been identified as Sushant Mahanta and Shiben Roy.
Reportedly, the duo was carrying cannabis from Cooch Behar to Hili in a school bag. After learning about the incident, the police successfully got hold of them from the aforementioned area on Tuesday.
The arrested individuals were produced before the Jalpaiguri court on Wednesday.
