Siliguri, 06th March: The NJP Police, based on a tip-off, campaigned in plain attire and arrested three miscreants from the Netaji More area. The arrested have been identified as Deepak Roy (resident of Rajahuli), Surjit Das (resident of D. S. Colony) and Sona Singh (resident of Shantipara).
As per the report, the police were in search of the three miscreants who were a part of an infamous gang responsible for several robberies. On February 24, the gang had gathered in the Ambikanagar area for the purpose of robbery. While the police nabbed five crooks, the aforementioned trio had managed to flee away.
After relentless campaigning, the police arrested the three on Friday. Today, the accused were produced in Jalpaiguri court.
