Siliguri, 05th July: The NJP police launched operations and recovered a large quantity of illegal liquor. A person, identified as Sheetal Sarkar, was arrested in the incident.
It has been learned that on Sunday, the police raided the house and shop of Sheetal Sarkar, a resident of Ambikanagar under NJP police station. A large quantity of illegal country-made liquor was recovered.
The arrested individual was sent to Jalpaiguri court on Monday.
