Siliguri, 13th March: One person has been arrested for stealing a four-wheeler car. The arrested accused has been identified as Sourav Gurung, a resident of Darjeeling.
It has been learned that a four-wheeler car was stolen from NJP station on March 10. After the incident, the owner of the vehicle lodged a complaint at the NJP police station. Based on that allegation, the police launched an investigation and arrested the person along with the stolen car from the toll gate of Fulbari.
According to police sources, the vehicle was being transported to Bihar for smuggling. The arrested accused was sent to Jalpaiguri court today.
