Siliguri, 11th June: The NJP police arrested a man for carrying out an illegal liquor trade and recovered a large quantity of domestic and country-made liquor from his possession. The arrested accused has been identified as Kamal Roy.
TIt has been learned that the police, based on a tip-off, launched operations at a house at the Ghorar Bari area adjacent to NJP police station late Thursday night and seized a large quantity of illegal domestic and country-made liquor.
According to police sources, the man had been running the illicit business at home for a long time. He was sent to Jalpaiguri court today.
