Siliguri, 15th September: The NJP police arrested 05 miscreants planning a robbery, on Tuesday night. The arrested accused have been identified as Bappa Mallick of Shantipara, Sanjit Sahani of Sipaipara, Dipankar Sarkar of Madani Bazar, Pradip Mallick of Shantipara, and Majidul Islam of Ambika Nagar. Several sharp-edged weapons were recovered from their possession.
According to police sources, a group of 10 to 12 miscreants gathered at the Jatiyakali area of Fulbari on Tuesday night. Police raided the area and nabbed the five. They were produced at the Jalpaiguri court today.
