Siliguri, 12th July: The NJP police arrested another notorious member of a robbers gang. The arrested accused has been identified as MD Sultan, a resident of Rajaholi.
Incidentally, on June 11, a group of 10-12 miscreants gathered in the Madani Bazaar area for the purpose of robbery. The police, acting on a tip-off, launched operations and arrested three of them. However, the rest managed to escape the scene.
The police launched search operations and successfully arrested MD Sultan from NJP Netaji more. He was sent to Jalpaiguri court today.
